Description
A post-World War II design, the James Comet went into production in late 1948. This lightweight motorcycle offered a top speed of 40mph, and became available for acquisition in early April 1949. The James Comet has a Villiers 1F engine, girder forks suspension, and a rear mudguard rack (suitable for panniers). It is equipped with a handlebar-mounted bulb horn, and complete with the original toolkit, stowed in a compartment below the seat. This vehicle is V5 registered.
